I want to share a personal faith journey and a way to practice your faith during the lent season.

Personally, each year, I have been a little more involved, but in the past, I was oblivious to these preparation days and just celebrated Easter,

As a young girl, I couldn?t wait for ?Semana Santa? to have some days off to drink and party in a popular young spot by the Andes called Huaraz, later in life, it was all about the kids,

chasing eggs, and having fun, I was a good person, with a good relationship with God, but in plain English, I was a taker in that relationship.

In 2015 I faced business betrayal, work challenges, me and my husband out of income at once, 17 years of hard work vanished, While sitting at a church bench, this idea flows #f8. It was how I wanted to live my life; this turned my life around for the best, my faith was tested, and I embraced it then, with a conviction that God?s plans would be revealed, and they did. It turned into a sabbatical year traveling the world with the kids.

My Faith is strong and keeps growing, I learned that 40 days before the resurrection is the time for deep reflection and transformation.

And we are asked to Fast, Pray and Give

Fasting is not just about food but about giving up on something, something meaningful and essential in your life.

Giving or helping, this time even with more determination,

How about being present for somebody giving personal time, or asking directly, how we can help?

For Praying daily, this app, Hallow, comes to the rescue,

It is incredible how easy it is to listen to the gospel; today\?s prayers were about humility.

What you listen to in the App was the same ash service at the church. The ashes come from the burning of the palms of Palm Sunday, and the meaning of the cross symbol on the forehead is to repent, be more like Jesus, and believe in the gospel.

I want to encourage you to find your F8, eight values to groom daily and to find the time to talk to God. He never fails to be with us.
